EXTENDED MESSAGE
Raphael’s name means “God Heals” and he is the archangel who is associated with health and healing. The Book of Tobit relates that he once disguised himself as a human in a congregation and was able to heal a man on the side of the road from sickness and blindness. The “sickness and blindness” are considered to be metaphorical, referring to the idea that Raphael healed how the man felt about a particular situation and shifted his perspective. It’s for this reason that he is looked upon as a guide to help us heal on all levels—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
